Covid-19 Policy

OUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY CODE:

Please help keep everyone safe by staying home if:

  • You have had a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days or have been in close contact with someone who has.
  • You are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, fever, respiratory problems or sudden loss of smell or taste.

We ask that you follow our Personal Responsibility Code while participating in any Public BSAM Canada activities which include:

  • Practicing safe physical distancing of at least 2 meters (6 feet).
  • Exercising good hygiene including proper hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer.
  • Wearing your own mask where physical distancing may be a challenge and always where it is required including in some exhibit areas.
  • Using credit or debit as the preferred method of payment.
  • Following designated group amounts, directional arrows or circular bubbles indicated while moving around exhibits.

GUIDELINES: 

  • Mask use will be mandatory for all Participants, when physical distancing standards can not be upheld when gathering; in compliance with Federal and Provincial Policy, this includes but is not limited to in-person meetings and public events.
  • Signs are visible to guide Participants to Hand sanitizing stations with sanitization procedures placed at each station.
  • Participants are expected to follow signage indicating proper queuing procedures and physical distancing standards of 2m (6 feet) apart.
  • Point of sale systems will be spaced 2m (6 feet) apart and protective shields will be in place.
  • Participants  are encouraged to pay by debit or credit (tap preferred).
  • Debit and credit terminals will be sanitized after each use
  • Traffic flow to and from the exhibits will be one-way and marked by directional signage
  • Admission to the exhibits area will require validation of a ticket.
  • Queuing at each exhibit will be spaced 2m (6ft) apart.
  • Provincial Capacity restrictions will be in place at each exhibit.
  • Once capacity has been reached in line and on the exhibits, Participants  will be provided with an approximate time to return.
  • Participants not in each other’s family bubble will be required to abide by physical distancing standards of 2m (6ft) while at each exhibit.
  • Some exhibits will require Participants  to wear masks in order to participate (Participants  are encouraged to bring their own masks).
  • Increased sanitization measures have been put in place for exhibits requiring the shared use of equipment (ex. 3d Goggles, crafting utensils etc.).
  • Participants are not permitted to share equipment with other people.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all events.
